CHALLENGE
A pipeline diversion was required to make way for new fixed plant infrastructure, involving both the site’s main potable water supply and a brine wastewater line. Because the potable water pipeline supplied water from the treatment plant into site, the works required careful planning, staged execution and strict controls to protect water quality while minimising disruption to operations.
SOLUTION
Eminence Energy provided specialist technical and completions support across the diversion works. Our scope included developing the hydrotesting and disinfection methodologies, flushing and hydrotesting both pipelines, disinfecting the potable water line, coordinating laboratory sampling prior to tie-in, and managing completions and handover requirements.
RESULTS
The diverted pipelines were tested, verified and prepared for safe integration with the new infrastructure. Through a methodical approach to water quality, testing and documentation, Eminence Energy supported a controlled brownfields handover while demonstrating the capability of our Technical Services division across potable water systems, critical infrastructure and completions management.
